Recently, in order to commemorate the 45th anniversary of the friendship between Jiangsu Province and Aichi County, Japan, and deepen exchanges and cooperation in the environmental field such as biodiversity protection between Jiangsu Province and Aichi County, at the invitation of the Aichi County Environmental Bureau, a delegation of young college students from Jiangsu Province and representatives of the Department of Ecological Environment of Jiangsu Province jointly went to Japan to carry out a 6-day special exchange visit on biodiversity protection. This event is an important manifestation of the continuous deepening of cooperation between the two places in the field of environment, and also injects new vitality into the joint promotion of ecological environment protection by Chinese and Japanese youth. Associate Professor Zhang Peipei and seven undergraduate representatives from the college participated in the event.
In 2019, Aichi County sent officials from the environmental department and university student representatives to visit Jiangsu to carry out special exchanges on nature protection, laying a good foundation for cooperation. This youth visit to Jiangsu not only continues the good tradition of interaction, but also becomes another important milestone in environmental protection cooperation and cultural exchange between the two provinces and counties. It not only broadens the ecological vision of young students, enhances their sense of mission to protect biodiversity, but also builds a bridge of communication with environmental protection as the link and youth as the power. It is expected that Jiangsu and Aichi County will continue to expand cooperation in the future, encourage more young people to become guardians and disseminators of the environment, and jointly contribute wisdom and strength to the global ecological protection cause.
